Thanks for sharing your input on my blog. ...Hello. Thanks for sharing your input on my blog. That was helpful. Our two little ones are five and three. I was able to do hand over hand writing with some work with our five year old son and with our daughter it seems a bit easier, but I think I waited longer before trying. Don't worry much about it, when the time is right they get things. I tend to stress more than I ought, but don't want other to fallow suit. *smile*

As for the diapers. As I looked online for patterns for free I noticed that one of the bloomer patterns I have four our daughter would have worked perfectly. Only I was not aware of so many differances in the styles I thought I had to PIN them. I tried with our son and poked myself so many times that I decided the dispoables were worth my sanity and my lifes blood. *big smile* Now I see how you gals do things and think it's not as hard as I thought only five years ago. *smile* Thanks so much for sharing with me what you do, it's inspiring. Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!

Also, if your kids enjoy videos, we watch a lot of Leap Frog movies for they are great teaching tools. We also enjoy some Bearnstine Bears and such, but for learning it's PBS and Leap Frog in our home. Oh! and School House Rock! *big smile*Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163336662723748216.post-56721718910284987772010-07-22T15:44:47.880-04:002010-07-22T15:44:47.880-04:00I converted 13 of my bumGenius from aplix to snaps...I converted 13 of my bumGenius from aplix to snaps and I have 9 that I need to sew the new tabs on.
I made some prefold and contour diapers out of old tshirts. They didn't end up working very well for my heavy wetter, but maybe this time around.
I am also lucky to have won countless diaper giveaways- it really helps! :o)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05093061097202525496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163336662723748216.post-57694348264878480042010-07-22T14:24:49.669-04:002010-07-22T14:24:49.669-04:00Where did you get your pattern? My problem isn't buying the expensive "popular" diapers but rather not being able to pass up a killer clearance deal or super low priced diapers like the ones I talked about on my post! :-)B.A. Hunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10499996627598964926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163336662723748216.post-42157022319992572252010-07-22T13:07:24.248-04:002010-07-22T13:07:24.248-04:00Great tips! I just need to add a few one size for when he/she grows out of newborn.

Prefolds are also a great why to save money. I've added prefolds to make my stash last longer so I don't have to wash as much.

BabyCenter.com has a great group of CDing women and they have a board to buy/trade.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14727832144786441245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163336662723748216.post-15234188543113682012010-07-22T13:03:28.895-04:002010-07-22T13:03:28.895-04:00You are an inspiration! All that infant stuff is too little, and after a year, you finally know what you need!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15224314701309105364noreply@blogger.com
